Founder, CEO & Clinical Director
Direct, practical therapy for adults who are ready to understand what is keeping them stuck and begin creating meaningful change.
Virtual therapy for adults in Texas and North Carolina.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
I will not expect you to carry the entire conversation or leave you wondering what therapy is supposed to accomplish.
I am warm and supportive, but I am also active and direct. We will look closely at what is happening now, how earlier experiences may still influence your responses, and the patterns or rules that keep appearing across different areas of your life.
Understanding those connections matters, but insight alone is not the finish line. We will use what we discover to make practical changes between sessions and in your daily life.
You can expect honest conversation, thoughtful questions, clear feedback, and a collaborative plan. I will never pretend to know your life better than you do. My role is to help you notice what has been difficult to see, understand what once helped you survive, and decide intentionally what you want to carry forward.

CREDENTIALS
Before founding Resurgence Therapy, I spent years working within the Department of Veterans Affairs, supporting Veterans and caregivers through trauma, chronic stress, complex systems, and major life transitions. My experience as a clinician, social worker, veteran, and military spouse has also shaped how I understand service, responsibility, identity, and the strain of being the person others depend on.
Training matters, but therapy should never feel like a treatment manual is being applied to you. I draw from established approaches while adapting the work to your history, needs, goals, and pace.
