How often will I attend therapy?

Frequency varies based on your needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust frequency as progress is made.

How long will I need therapy?

There is no one size fits all answer. Some clients benefit from short term therapy focused on a specific issue, while others choose longer term support for more complex concerns.

My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever. My goal is to help you build the skills and confidence necessary to reach your goals and function independently.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide psychotherapy but do not prescribe medications. If medication support may be beneficial, I can help coordinate care with your medical provider or psychiatrist.

What if I've been in therapy before and it didn't help?

Many clients come to Resurgence Therapy Collective after previous therapy experiences that did not fully meet their needs.

Therapy is not one size fits all. Finding the right therapist, treatment approach, and therapeutic relationship can make a significant difference in outcomes.

What if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?

That's perfectly okay.

The consultation process is designed to help determine whether therapy is the right next step and whether my approach is a good fit for your goals.
