Therapy Focused on Meaningful Change

At Resurgence Therapy Collective, I work with adults who are ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin creating lasting change. Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, or a major life transition, therapy can help you develop the skills, insight, and confidence needed to move forward.

My approach is grounded in evidence based treatments that have been extensively researched and proven effective. Together, we will identify what is keeping you stuck and create a path toward healing, growth, and resilience.

Trauma and PTSD

Trauma can affect every aspect of life, including relationships, self confidence, emotional well being, sleep, work performance, and your ability to feel safe in the world.

You may be experiencing:

  • Intrusive memories or unwanted thoughts

  • Hypervigilance or feeling constantly on edge

  • Emotional numbness

  • Irritability or anger

  • Difficulty trusting others

  • Avoidance of reminders of traumatic experiences

  • Feelings of guilt, shame, or self blame

  • Difficulty connecting with others

Trauma treatment is not about reliving painful experiences endlessly. It is about helping you process what happened so it no longer controls your life.

I utilize evidence based trauma treatments including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) to help clients recover from trauma and PTSD.

Caregiver Burnout and Compassion Fatigue

Many caregivers spend so much time caring for others that they neglect their own needs.

You may be experiencing:

  • Exhaustion

  • Feelings of resentment or guilt

  • Isolation

  • Loss of identity

  • Anxiety about the future

  • Difficulty balancing responsibilities

  • Emotional overwhelm

Caregiver burnout is not a sign of weakness. It is often the result of carrying an extraordinary burden for an extended period of time.

Therapy can help you establish healthy boundaries, reduce stress, improve coping skills, and reconnect with your own needs and goals.

Relationships Impacted by Trauma

Trauma rarely affects only one person. It often impacts communication, trust, intimacy, emotional connection, and overall relationship satisfaction.

Common concerns include:

  • Difficulty trusting others

  • Emotional distance

  • Conflict and communication problems

  • Intimacy concerns

  • Caregiver and partner burnout

  • Navigating recovery together

I help individuals and couples understand how trauma affects relationships and develop healthier ways of communicating, connecting, and supporting one another.

Grief and Loss

Loss comes in many forms and can affect every area of life.

You may be grieving:

  • The death of a loved one

  • Changes in health or physical abilities

  • The end of a relationship

  • Loss of identity

  • Career changes

  • Life circumstances that did not unfold as expected

Grief is not something that needs to be "fixed." Therapy provides a space to process loss, find meaning, and learn how to carry grief while continuing to move forward.

Veterans and Military Families

Military service can create unique challenges that many civilian providers do not fully understand.

Whether you are an active duty service member, veteran, spouse, caregiver, or family member, therapy can provide support for issues such as:

  • PTSD and combat related trauma

  • Military transition and identity changes

  • Moral injury

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Relationship challenges

  • Caregiver stress

  • Reintegration after deployment

  • Grief and loss

Having spent years working with veterans, military families, and caregivers, I understand the complexities of military culture and the unique challenges faced by those who serve and those who support them.

Anxiety and Chronic Stress

Anxiety can make it difficult to enjoy life, stay present, and feel at peace.

You may find yourself:

  • Constantly worrying

  • Overthinking decisions

  • Anticipating worst case scenarios

  • Struggling to relax

  • Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities

  • Experiencing physical symptoms of stress and anxiety

Together, we will identify the patterns that fuel anxiety and develop practical strategies to help you regain control and confidence.

Life Transitions and Adjustment

Even positive life changes can create stress and uncertainty.

You may be navigating:

  • Career changes

  • Retirement

  • Relocation

  • Relationship changes

  • Health challenges

  • Empty nest transitions

  • Major life decisions

Therapy can help you adapt to change, clarify your priorities, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

Sleep and Insomnia

Sleep difficulties can have a significant impact on emotional health, physical well being, relationships, and daily functioning.

Common concerns include:

  • Difficulty falling asleep

  • Frequent waking during the night

  • Racing thoughts at bedtime

  • Sleep anxiety

  • Non restorative sleep

  • Chronic insomnia

I utilize evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), to help clients improve sleep quality and restore healthy sleep habits.
